Mbaracayú Forest Nature Reserve

Mbaracayú Forest Nature Reserve is part of the Tentative list of Paraguay in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Mbaracayú Forest Nature Reserve is a humid subtropical forest, part of the Interior Atlantic Forest. It is crossed by the Mbaracaya Mountain Range. It has deep valleys and waterfalls. Some of the forests are permanently flooded.
