Sierra De Las Minas Biosphere Reservation
Sierra De Las Minas Biosphere Reservation is part of the Tentative list of Guatemala in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Sierra De Las Minas Biosphere Reservation comprises a mountain range that includes Mesoamerica's largest cloud forests. Due to its variety in elevation and precipitation it is very rich in floral and faunal species. Notable mammals include Jaguar, Cougar and Baird’s Tapir.
