The Complex of Izadkhast

The Complex of Izadkhast is part of the Tentative list of Iran in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Complex of Izadkhast comprises a castle, a caravanserai and the Safavid-period bridge. The castle has a prominent role on the Silk Road. It is considered the second largest adobe building in the world after Bam. The Izadkhast Caravanserai is also one of caravanserais in the Tentative List as Persian Caravanserai.
