Le Parc National de la forêt du Day
Le Parc National de la forêt du Day is part of the Tentative list of Djibouti in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Day Forest National Park encompasses a relict juniper forest at 1,500m altitude in the Goda massif. It is the only forest in Djibouti and has the wettest microclimate in the country. Mammals and bird species are also found here, including the endemic Djibouti spurfowl.
