The Diaolou Buildings and Villages for Tibetan and Qiang Ethnic Groups are located in the alpine valleys in the east of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
They include 225 Diaolou buildings and 15 villages that reflect the unique local culture that has always emphasized the spiritual connection between the height of architecture and divinity ever since ancient times.
