Repetek Biosphere State Reserve
Repetek Biosphere State Reserve is part of the Tentative list of Turkmenistan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Repetek Biosphere State Reserve (also included in the “Cold winter desert of Turan” serial. Nomination) is an area of protected arid desert, with many ridged sand dunes up to 20 meters high and several km long, with rare vegetation and animal life.
