La Mosquée de Komoguel is part of the Tentative list of Mali in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Mosque of Komoguel in Mopti is a work of Sudanese architecture from the 1930s. It measures 100 square meter and has both a covered and an uncovered (courtyard) part to house the large number of worshipers. It was inspired by the mosque of Djenné, but has an added symmetry by having three towers and an entrance portal at both sides.
