Cultural Landscape of the Sondondo Valley is part of the Tentative list of Peru in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Sondondo Valley is a cultural landscape representative of the societies based on agriculture and livestock farming that have settled in these high lands. Tangible elements of this landscape include guardian mountains, pasture areas, cattle corrals, terraces and platforms for cultivation, villages and roads. It is an exceptional testimony of the cosmogony of the locals and the agricultural practices carried out on these plateaus for centuries.
