Cedro Dam in the Quixadá Monoliths is part of the Tentative list of Brazil in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Cedro Dam was built in the late 19th century in the Quixadá Monoliths, a formation of inselbergs. Designed by a British engineer, it was a pioneering hydraulic work in South America. The result fitted well within the natural landscape of dozens of monoliths.
