If it is half as good as A History of The World in 100 Objects then it will be well worth a listen. I would also recommend Germany: Memories of a Nation
, from the same team. It has very good coverage of German WHS, the Bauhaus episode was particularly good.
And just in case that isn't enough of a WHS relationship the writer/presenter Neil MacGregor left his post as director of the British Museum
, to become director of the Humboldt Forum in Berlin, which is currently being built in the New Berliner Schloss and aims to be an extension, literally and figuratively, of Museuminsel. Which in my book is a mark in the positive column for living in Berlin.
