Can I remark two things about the "WHS in the News" section on the front page?

1. Articles that refer to the Washington Post are hidden behind a pay wall. I think it kind of defeats the purpose if one can't read the article for more information.

2. What WHS does the article "St. Vincent's La Soufriere volcano blows in 'explosive eruption'" refer to? Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have no WHS.

I think it's limited to one article per day? I read the Lake Baikal one just fine. You could always try to get a new IP address and restart the browser to read a new one or...wait. That's quite normal with many newspapers nowadays.

I thought the articles were only about WHS. My mistake.

The Choju-giga (Drawings of Frolicking Birds and Animals) scroll that originates from the Kosan-ji temple, one of the 17 elements of the Ancient Kyoko WHS, is on view at the Tokyo National Museum for 6 weeks (not entire summer as the Timeout article below says). This scroll (consisting of 4 volumes) is one of the four most important scrolls in Japan. This is a major exhibition.

Belfort Aalst krijgt opknapbeurt

The belfry of Aalst will be renovated. 11 million will be spent on better isolation and a new heating system.

Btw, it has an excellent escape room in its basement. I wonder if other WHS house escape rooms?
