Observations:
- Only 13 of 32 leading countries by inscriptions are outside Europe
- Potentially 5 countries may reach 50 inscriptions in 2022
- 6 leading countries in inscriptions all have nominations submitted for 2022
- 18 of 32 leading countries have made updates to their tentative list (large or small) since January 2019
- Germany (official 2024-25) is "in the process" of updating their tentative list
- Japan (official 2021-2022) is "in the process" of updating their tentative list
- With the exception of France's 2022 nomination, the leading countries submitted cultural sites only
- 2/3 of all world heritage sites (772) come from these 32 countries
- 1/3 of all current tentative nominations come from these 32 countries

Yep I see that too. I take the corona crisis to tick off Europe sights now. I think averaging 10 per month for a full year works as a minimum. At least, I have 10-15 trips "planned, not booked" all 7-10 days which tick-off more than that.
I concentrated a lot on far away sites in the past. Also countries that I guess won't have more anyway.
