Considering many of this summary originated with community member posts regarding nearly complete nominations between 2015 and 2019. Several of our "Sites Attempting Inscripn soon" simply failed to satisfy the Advisory Bodies and were rejected.

We might expect another attempt regarding the "Ribeira Sacra" nomination, which may come as soon as 2024. However, the next Galicia (Spain) nomination is likely City of Ferrol: Port of Enlightenment, which is sufficiently advanced in the nomination process to expect a 2025 or 2026 evaluation by ICOMOS.
