Yes -the inscribed site consists of 2 lake islands together with a chunk of land at the N East side of the lake. This discovery is on the SW side a fair distance away from any of them and on the "wrong side"!
Actually , several web based maps seem to show Nataruk as being rather a long way south west of the lake (follow the co-ordinates on the top RHS of this article -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nataruk,_Kenya ) but it seems that this must relate to a town/village of that name rather than to the site itself as yet another article refers to the site being "30kms" from today's lakeside (presumably "Nataruk" is the closest "town" ).

(Currently its main water input is FROM the Omo River flowing into IT and it has no outflow - only evaporation!!)
