Name: Rotorua and surroundings.
Country: New Zealand
Type: Mixed
OUV: Living with thermal energy. Cooking in a geyser... What is not to love? Mix of natural and culturla (villages, religion).

Name: Kahurangi National Park, Farewell Spit and Canaan karst system
Country: New Zealand
Type: Natural
OUV: Abel Tasman NP just looks really nice. "The geodiversity of Kahurangi National Park is the most complex in any of New Zealand's large protected areas. The diversity of rock types, soils, topography and climates throughout Kahurangi has produced a remarkable array of terrestrial, freshwater and estuarine ecosystems. "

Assif:
According to Wikipedia, it is a natural sites with lagoons and lakes, rather than manmade canals.

According to me, it is a tourist trap!

The canals are both man made and natural. I don't think the ecological significance is that high, so no secondment from me.

Colvin:
Colonial Shanghai (I assume you specifically mean The Bund),

Also the French Concession. Both.

Maybe we could rename this to "Foreign concessions in Shanghai". As they weren't colonial and Chinese held sovereignity.

My proposed sites in South Asia:

India
Sri Harimandir Sahib, Amritsar, Punjab:: an important momument of Sikhism
The historic ensemble of Orchha: thankfully, they already included this in their tentative list.

Nepal
Annapurna Conservation Area: not on their tentative list. Nepal's biggest park and popular trekking area. Known for its avian inhabitants but I am not sure if that is going to be enough justification.

Pakistan
Archaeological Site of Harappa: Bronze age city in the ancient settlement area of Indus valley.

Noted Els.

nfmungard:
Kermadec Islands and Marine reserve (White Island)

I support this. Kermadec island chain always figures in the scientific journals I read about subtropical to temperate marine ecosystems.

TOP 20 China missing voted by Chinese WHS Fans in last year.

Top 10
1 Jomolangma (Everest)
2 Western Xia Imperial Tombs
3 Wooden Structures of Liao Dynasty—Wooden Pagoda of Yingxian County,Main Hall of Fengguo Monastery of Yixian County
4 Archaeological Sites of the Ancient Shu State
5 Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon—Namjagbarwa
6 Vertical Vegetation Landscape and Volcanic Landscape in Changbai Mountain
7 Scenic and historic area of Sacred Mountains and Lakes(Mount Kailash)
8 Quanzhou(Zayton)
9 The Ancient Waterfront Towns in the South of Yangtze River
10 Imperial Mausoleums of the Tang Dynasty

From this list I'd like to bring forward Mount Kailash: Mount Kailash is considered to be sacred in four religions: Bon, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. Important piligrimage site. It was also on our previous Missing List.

And the Western Xia mausoleums: It's an imperial burial site in the Gobi desert, founded by the Tangut ethnic group (11th - 13th century) of which is little known.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_Xia_mausoleums

Not so fond about the others, though Jomolangma (Everest)could be a good extension to the already inscribed Nepali part.

Assif:
These proposals belong to the Europe-North America Unesco region.

Me and @Colvin have been discussing that in the main tread. We should agree on something, else I will be proposing American and French sites in the Pacific soon.

Assif:
Name: Namena Marine Reserve
Country: Fiji

nfmungard:
Name. Tea Plantations of India (Nilgiri, Darjeeling, Assam)
Country: India

Name: Colonial Hanoi
Country: Vietnam
OUV: Main parts of Hanoi follow French city planning making Hanoi into a very different Asian city. Even Gustave Eiffel built here.
"Embarked on a grand mission civilisatrice, the French colonial administration laid wide, tree-lined boulevards patterned on the Champs Élysées, installed electric lights and built villas in a hybrid style known as Norman Pagoda"
"Some of the street scenes in Hanoi could be Paris. The French-style mansions and tree-lined boulevards help retain the city's reputation as being "The Paris of the East". Hanoi's culture, however, is uniquely Vietnamese and it exhibits few of the scars of the Indochina War."

Option:
We could also include the Vietnamese heritage of the city, e.g. the central lake.

Name: Ba Be National Park
Country: Vietnam
Type: N
OUV: Caves, Karst Mountains, Mountain Tribes, Waterfalls, Lakes, Jungle.
"Ba Be National Park is considered as the most important and meaningful natural habitat for biodiversity conservation and it is also a home of many rare endangered flora and fauna. The forest cover of Ba Be contains a typical sample of limestone vegetation and is scarce in other countries in the region."
http://whc.unesco.org/en/tentativelists/6262
"Ba Be Lake or Ba Be National Park is located in Bac Can Province, 240km from Hanoi and covers more than 23,000 hectares boasting waterfalls, rivers, deep valleys, lakes and caves set amid towering peaks. The area is home to many ethnic minority communities."
https://wikitravel.org/en/Ba_Be_National_Park

Name: Ban Gioc Waterfall System
Type: N/M
Country: Vietnam, China
OUV Amazing lush karst mountains with farms, caves and a huge waterfall. Can be combined with more waterfalls on the Chinese side.

"Over thousands of years the waterfall has eroded its crest and slowly moved upstream. It currently appears to be two waterfalls most of the time but when the river is swollen due to summer rains can form one fall again."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ban_Gioc%E2%80%93Detian_Falls
"Ban Gioc Waterfall or Thac Ban Gioc located in Cao Bang province[1], 350km from Hanoi is one of 4 biggest waterfalls located on a frontier after Iguazu, Victoria and Niagara. The area is home to many ethnic minority communities, such as the Nung, Dzao and H'mong ethnic groups. B"
https://wikitravel.org/en/Ban_Gioc_Waterfall

Name: Mekong Delta
Type: M
Country: Vietnam
OUV: Swimming markets, river islands, ...

Further suggestions
Coffee Plantations of Vietnam -> #2 World Wide Producer.

French Railway Hanoi Saigon.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rail_transport_in_Vietnam#Current_lines

More traditional villages all over the country -> So many local people living in traditional villages.

Mountain Villages of Sapa (Vietnam) -> Very popular area, but can't find a most viable candidate. There is a separate tentative site for archeological finds, but I would rather go for the villages.

Dalat Wine Region - ;)
