HI tirtha22 - in fact these are already on India's T List (
http://www.worldheritagesite.org/sites/twhs.php?id=5573 )
As for the rest - do you know to what we owe this sudden "rush" of news articles about possible new sites wanting to go for UNESCO status? India had a major update of its Tentative List in 2014 after a process which was reported thus on this Web site back in early 2014
"India selected 57 sites for revised tentative list out of 238 sites including 6 cultural landscapes. Total of 238 properties were proposed out of which 162 were cultural and 76 were natural, mixed or cultural landscapes" Are many of the sites which didn't get on trying again? Or is it election time with every state politician trying to convince the electors that he/she is working very hard to put their town/region on the map??
