Møns Klint 26/01/2023
At last!!! Going tickin'!
Is that so relevant? It doesn't seem so valuable and probably repetititive with Stevs Klint, no?
Well, it was in part a personal thing as I visited the place with great pleasure, and then, seeing it was sitting on the Danish T-list since so long, I was just waiting for its official addition on the UNESCO site.
It might be true that it is "yet another cliff", but it is also true that it is a very beautiful place with a meaningful geological history (and a megamuseum that lets you understand it very well). Also, the whole context of Møns island is on of the nicest in Denmark, I think. And it is quite different from Stevns: different shape, different story, different geology. Its most similar counterpart are actually the cliffs of Rügen, in the Jasmund national park (Beech forest WHS), "in front of it" on the other side of the sea.
