There must be 4 more that are removed, I am at 1729 now and the UNESCO website at 1725.

Czechia is on 14 TWHS. The West Bohemian Spa Triangle is off the list.

Also, for France, the TWHS Ancient and Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians and Other Regions of Europe - extension (France) is not mentioned on the Unesco website.

There are even 3 more removed, as the Swiss still have their Beech forests as a TWHS. Aaargh....
I've already checked all 2021 inscriptions and all major countries.

...
Found 1: Serbia has removed their beech forests
Found 2: so did their brothers in Montenegro
Found 3: the Hungarians gave up on the Ripa Pannonica

2000:
Lena River Delta (a Russian FTWHS we don't have) was postponed, as a IUCN mission was impossible due to climatic reasons.
https://whc.unesco.org/archive/2000/whc-00-conf202-inf5e.pdf (p. 55)

We have its history here: https://www.worldheritagesite.org/list/Lena+Pillars (the official status in the 2020 records is a withdrawal)

At the same session (2003) the now dismantled bridge over the Yenissei (Russia) was proposed for an emergency nomination and rejected on the grounds that although OUV is recognised there is no such emergency. Little did they know...

Varadzin and Tvrda (Croatia) were withdrawn as well.
https://whc.unesco.org/archive/2000/whc-00-conf202-inf4f.pdf

They got a negative advice at the Bureau session (link), but as far as I can see they have never been put forward towards the real session. That's not the same as a withdrawal.
Will think about how to handle those Bureau "decisions".

When reading the news about UNESCO nominations and interviews with state parties representatives, I noticed that there have to be diplomatic negotiations about the nominations "behind the scene", which are not officially posted. Thus, there are still the sites on national TWHS lists with no chances to be inscribed. Maybe the reason is that even TWHSs are promoted by the tourist industry, and it is somehow prestigious for the site on the national level to stay on the tentative list.

The Lena River Delta is probably equivalent to:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lena_Delta_Wildlife_Reserve
It is much more to the north than the Lena Pillars, which are not within the delta.
These two sites should be separated: The Lena River Delta is a "new" FTWHS and the Lena Pillars were proposed separately.
