A few people that travelled around Christmas time (especially Wojtek) wrote a lot

I'm just ticking off some TWHS from the ones I'm covering for the project. I hope it inspires some others to do the same. Would be nice to have some kind of blurb for a site, especially as it sometimes help to understand some of them better and place them on the travel itinerary (or remove them).

I'd just like to take a moment to compliment Frederic M on his recent review of the Galapagos. Very nice review and it makes me want to go there even more. I also really like reading it and the other reviews that feature mostly land-based itineraries instead of a cruise because usually one sees Galapagos tourism promoted as part of a cruise package.

I think it's possible to do nice land-based trips to the Galapagos. Two more islands are inhabited and could have been added to my itinerary qute easily. But it's also true that many islands and sights can only be experienced on a cruise. My biggest regret is missing the flightless comoran...

I noticed there is a short gap between a new review showing up on the main page and the individual page. While no huge deal it just means I click on the link and don't get to read the rest - remind myself to read it ~15min later? Overall that's not ideal though.

Unfortunately it's not a fixed amount of time, there are two life cycles working against each other here.
It is very difficult to fix, but I am still thinking about alternative ways.
The easiest workaround is to click on the little white circle with 2 arrows at the bottom right corner of the page - that will refresh it and the review shows on the site page.

I never noticed that refresh button! :D

Problem is with caching indeed. Forced refresh (button on the bottom) easiest fix.

Yeah, the queue is about 3 weeks with 2 reviews a day

However, in the past week, there have hardly been any new ones. So it varies a lot

I know a lot of people have been travelling. Also, have a look at the recent additions to the Tentative Lists, maybe you have visited one of those in the past.

No probs, although I dislike writing on my phone, the typos I find in some of my older reviews are hilarious

Hm, nothing too recent for me on that list, but as soon as I am back home I'll resume with Denmark :-) It's just that I am slow, so I don't know if they'll come in time!
