I've just completed Barbados, Bangladesh, Australia and Azerbaijan. I couldn't find any official websites for Bahrain.

Looks like Australian Convict Sites, Greater Blue Mountains, Ningaloo Coast and Gondwana Rainforests don't have official one stop shops for all the disparate elements. (I reckon someone at Tourism Australia has missed a trick). So going to be a whole load of official sites to reference, although GBM is all NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.

err Blimey! I hadn't checked in over the weekend and it seems there has been a load of activity on this, all the countries I would normally cover have already been done.

So purely because they are the two guide books I have been reading on the tube I will plump for Pacific Islands and Central Asia. No idea if there will be anything on them but we will see.

Hi all,

I've just added another batch.
I still have a number of e-mails waiting in my inbox - don't despair, they will be added in a day or so.

Thanks so far to all, I think this project is really improving the quality of the website.

Els

P.S.: I've seen several very pretty ones (Iceland, UK), and also some very bewildering ones ( http://www.lednicko-valticky-areal.cz/ or http://www.koneurgench.8m.com/)

Truly, the Lednice/Valtice website looks a bit strange and it's in Czech and German only. But it's the only website that describes all small buildings included in the WHS. I visited Lednice-Valtice in May this year and the informations are reliable. But it's indeed not an official website. There are English websites of the Lednice and Valtice castles, I will send these informations.

Since I volunteered to do all remaining countries I thought of asking for some help with the heavier countries (with more than 10 WHS). It would be nice to find volunteers to take over one or more of the following countries:
Spain, China, France, Mexico, Russia, Brazil, Greece, Canada, Japan, Iran, Portugal, Poland, Peru, Switzerland, Turkey.

Bosnia has been done too.

I've done Switzerland and the two Slovenian sites. Switzerland was quite easy because there is a national website with usefuld links.
Next, I can take care of France, if no one else does.

Solivagant:
Worth linking on the "country page"?

I stumbled upon some "country pages" with more or less useful informations:

Germany

Austria

Switzerland

Sweden

Czech Republik

Jeepers, hubert where did you dig that one up from. In all my time of searching Czech WHS websites I have never encountered that impressive piece, well done!

If no one else has claimed those from Assif's long list I will be happy to do Canada, Spain and Poland. Will happily do more but I don't want to impose on other people's fun.
