There are 2 sites from India in contention to become world heritage site

1) Forts & monuments from Deccan sultanate
2) Hoyasala temples

I don't think Kashmir gardens will be nominated this year.

Oh that Royal Sites of Ireland is a nice thing to see.

Not just because it is a worthy site and will be a tick for me, but it would be a first joint Ireland/, UK due to the inclusion of Navan Fort in Co Armagh (Northern Ireland).

A nice thing to see at a time when cross border issues are a bit more strained than in the previous two decades or so.

Ancient Tea Cultural Landscape of Pu'er Jingmai Mountain

http://www.yn.xinhuanet.com/newscenter/2021-02/05/c_139722854.htm

"The ancient tea forest cultural landscape of Jingmai Mountain was approved by the State Council as China's official declaration of the World Cultural Heritage Project in 2022, and the relevant text of the application has been sent to UNESCO."

Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (Brazil) was submitted as a complete nomination in 2019. However, the state party chose "to prioritize the nomination "Sítio Roberto Burle Marx" for 2020. As of yet nothing for 2021 (not on the list provided by IUCN). So one might assume it might be Brazil's official nomination for 2022. Does anyone know how long a submitted complete nomination can stay active?
