Certainly some conjecture at this point for Mozu-Furuichi Kofungun, the Klondike, and Hopewell. Japan's 2018 nomination is likely a three-way race between Jomon, Sado, and Mozu-Furuichi Kofungun. The later may be the frontrunner based on some reports on the Jomon sites and controversy with Sado. Hopewell is certainly the frontrunner in the US, if a nomination is submitted (which is not guaranteed at this point).
