One of the new TWHS, Geoglyphs of Konkan Region, looks pretty interesting and is only recently discovered:

The National Geographic Channel produced a two part documentary series from 2020 called India From Above that I just watched this past week. If the series is available in your country, it features some great cinematography, and the second episode in particular has some fascinating overviews of three sites currently on India's Tentative World Heritage Site list:
Bhedaghat-Lametaghat in Narmada Valley
Keibul Lamjao Conservation Area (with a particular focus on the cultural landscape of Loktak Lake) and
Jingkieng jri: Living Root Bridge Cultural Landscapes (which provides a good explanation about why and how the bridges were formed)

More chatter from India: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has decided to propose the Barabar and Nagarjuni caves in Bihar's Jehanabad district for inclusion in the tentative list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites

The Barabar caves are already part of the Grand Trunk Road Sites TWHS, but it seems that they are now being put forward together with the Nagarjuni caves for a separate entry on the T List (and possible nomination).

As written in Solvigant's Review, the Archaeological remains of a Harappa Port-Town, Lothal likely have special value in the eyes of the Nationalist Modi government. So much so, that it might very well jump the line toward "priority status" in the near future.

Indian Express Article

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday evening said, "There are many such tales of our history that have been forgotten. Lothal was not only a major trading centre of the Indus Valley Civilisation, but it was also a symbol of India's maritime power and prosperity."
