Could become "Transboundary" if neighbouring T List entry were inscribed

WHS for which a neighbouring country has a T List entry which, if ever inscribed, would create a "Transboundary" WHS. Specify the associated T List Title and country. As the exact inscribed boundary of a current T List site cannot yet be known a "reasonable" assumption should be made based on current National Park boundaries, T List description, AB evaluation of the WHS etc,.

Calakmul Guatemala; Cuenca Mirador . The Cuenca Mirador is described as being "In the Vertex that forms the frontier with Mexico and Belize. It is part of the Mayan Biosphere Reservation." It is foreseen as a "mixed" site and this link seems to show an intention to abut Calakmul in Mexico
Hyrcanian Forests Azeri Hyrcanian TWHS
Los Glaciares Chile; Torres del Paine/Bernardo O'Higgins "The World Heritage property is adjacent to the two national parks of Torres del Paine and Bernardo O'Higgins on the Chilean side, effectively forming a contiguous protected areas complex of impressive scale stretching across the border." (UNESCO)
Manas Wildlife Sanctuary Bhutan; Royal Manas NP. The 1984 Manas AB states "The adjacent Manas Wildlife Sanctuary of Bhutan (44,300 ha) would provide an additional dimension to the site by adding habitat variety and encouraging more cooperation in management of wildlife that migrates between both reserves. When Bhutan becomes a State Party to the Convention the addition of the area on their side of the border is highly recommended"
Phong Nha - Ke Bang Laos; Nin Namno NP. The 2003 AB evaluation stated "It is also strongly recommended that there be discussions with the Lao PDR State Party with a view to further expanding the boundaries of the site, at a later stage, to include the Hin Namno Karst reserve of Lao PDR and any other relevant areas".

Do you know of another WHS we could connect to Could become "Transboundary" if neighbouring T List entry were inscribed?

Send it to me!

A connection should:

  1. Not be "self evident"
  2. Link at least 3 different sites
  3. Not duplicate or merely subdivide the "Category" assignment already identified on this site.
  4. Add some knowledge or insight (whether significant or trivial!) about WHS for the users of this site
  5. Be explained, with reference to a source
