World Heritage Sites connected to 'Historic Pharmacies':

  • Brugge Memlingmuseum-Sint-Janshospitaal (17th century)
  • Dubrovnik Old Pharmacy, located inside the Franciscan monastery, was opened in 1317. It is the third oldest pharmacy in Europe, but the only one of these still working.
  • L'viv The Pharmacy Museum "Under the Black Eagle" (1735)
  • Rome Farmacia di S. Maria della Scala (17th century pharmacy to the Papal Court, above an operating pharmacy, in a Carmelite monastery)

  • Tallinn Town Hall Pharmacy (Raeapteek), one of the oldest continuously running pharmacies in Europe, having always been in business in the same exact house since the early 15th century.)
