Steyr is one of many nice historical little towns in Central Europe. It's situated on the confluence of the rivers Steyr and Enns which gives it a nice setting. The main square and the old town in general are mainly Baroque (as is most of Austria). Some medieval architecture is available too. Steyr makes a nice day visit, but probably not enough to justify an inscription. The nomination focuses on its importance during the industrial revolution which carries on to the present day. A local museum is dedicated to this aspect of Steyr's history.
