Climbing Fujisan is an experience that I will never forget. We climbed through the night to see the sunrise. It was freezing at the top even in the middle of summer. However the view from the top is beautiful. It was cloudy but it made it even better. The only down side to this trip was the multitude of people you have to endure making the 1500 m you have to climb take forever. Near the top it took me 1 1/2 hours to go the last 200 meters. So expect delays climbing up and take precautions on the decent because there are very few huts and bathrooms.
