Rio Platano Biosphere Reserve

The Río Plátano Biosphere Reserve encompasses both mountainous and lowland tropical rainforest, full of diverse wildlife and plant life. It is located on the Río Plátano in the La Mosquitia region on the Caribbean coast of Honduras.
