Industrial Heritage of Iranian Railway - No planned year for inscription, but an interesting development. Perhaps the first nomination from its recent tentative list update.

Pu'er tea and Pu'er House - Southeast Asia Tea Horse Road (China, India, Myanmar, Vietnam)

Perhaps we'll see some new tentative nomination(s) from the 3 involved state parties? China is leading the way.

Pu'er tea and Pu'er House - Southeast Asia Tea Horse Road

This nomination is becoming more complex but understandable because it has been questioned by central authorities for its OUV proposed by Yunnan. Puer tea plantation is not unique, the process of fermented and pressed tea cake is the thing that special, but hard to show OUV on tangible properties. Anyway Puer tea has another unique role on Old Tea Horse Road, a caravan routes similar to Silk Roads. Possible that China may combine the WH tentative site of Dali and its surroundings to be part of network of Old Tea Horse Road, to make this nomination better, and they need to include Lijiang too as it was an important stop of the route.

Its expansion to Southeast Asia is more interesting, funny that the Chinese decide not to include Laos and Thailand, maybe the old tea horse road in this section has strange role for invasion that Chinese used to invade and destroy Luang Prabang! and during WWII that Yunnan division of Kuomintang army use the road to escape from China via Laos and Thailand before move to Taiwan!

It seems that it has something to do with the -some years ago- failed application of Plasencia-Monfrag├╝e-Trujillo http://whc.unesco.org/en/tentativelists/5417/, as Extremadura is the most active autonomous region on this. Andalusia is briefly mentioned, but who knows...

We've had Sharjah: the Gate to Trucial States (UAE) selected for 2019 for a while now. I don't know if this article changes the evaluation date, but its interesting nonetheless.

China's Ming and Qing Dynasty City Wall nomination is progressing, but this article seems to confirm its not being submitted in January/February for 2019. Perhaps 2020?

Mayon Volcano Natural Park (MMVNP) (Philippines)

This seems to indicate a world heritage nomination for 2018! Yet, I do not know how thats impossible, unless it was a "emergency" nomination. Otherwise, its probably in for 2019, no?
