I hadn't seen the Virgilio Barco Library propossal, and must admit I don't know a huge amount about it.

It looks nice, but hardly that remarkable, though I did have a little grin at the explanation:
"The building, being one of the four largest libraries of the BIBLORED network"

So there you go, who can argue that being one of the four biggest libraries in Bogota isn't justification for OUV :)

I'm sure there is much more to it, and these proposals do pull up some interesting avenues to explore, even if I don't really think they are worthy of a place on the list. It just tickled me that the justification seemed to be damning with faint praise.

We're still missing a Tentative List Update document from the list of working documents for the 2016 Istanbul session, don't we?

Belarus plans: http://eng.belta.by/culture/view/more-architectural-monuments-to-be-renovated-in-bela rus-by-2020-92321-2016/

"the Belarusian Culture Ministry has plans to prepare five nomination files over the next five years. These will be nomination files on the spiritual legacy of Saint Euphrosyne of Polotsk, the Augustow Canal cross-border project, Sts Boris and Gleb Church in Grodno, the fortified churches in Synkovichi, Murovanka and Kamai, and the 16th-19th century wooden architecture of Belarus, Ukraine and Poland."

P.S. I thought this was 'news', but as these are the only 5 current TWHS of Belarus I guess the officials are just stating the obvious. A 2016-2020 masterplan is mentioned, but they'd have to be quick to get any in.

We now have several countries with no active T-lists (apart from countries which have never drafted one):

One entry: Sweden, Costa Rica, Australia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Zimbabwe
No entries: Luxemburg, Libya, Belize, St. Lucia, Singapore, Kiribati, Panama.

Anyone with knowledge as to whether any of these countries plan a comeback in the foreseeable future?

We had discussions in the forum re: Switzerland (not currently), Luxemburg (?), Libya (possibly), Singapore (probably), Belize (probably not), Kiribati (probably not), Australia (certainly), Costa Rica (?), Lithuania (?), Malaysia (?), Panama (?), Zimbabwe (?).

Switzerland

According to the website of the Bundesamt für Kultur, Switzerland is planning a revision of the Tentative List in 2017. The website has recently been updated, but there is no further information.

City of Kamyanets-Podilsky (Ukraine) - sounds like a nomination may be forthcoming to possibly be submitted by the 2017 deadline? After reading "Tsunami's" review and viewing pictures, this cultural landscape looks impressive. I am surprised its not inscribed already.
