Not sure if this is the best forum to post it on, but it seems mildly appropriate.

Just a minor point there is typo/ transliteration issue in the name of the tentative site Mountain-top Hotel and Television Transmitter Ještìd It should be Mountain-top Hotel and Television Transmitter Ještěd. Only a one letter change but thought I would flag it up.

Also in doing so I will highlight the great review from Solivagant, which is well worth a read if anyone is interested in such things, or perhaps I should re-phrase that, especially if you are not interested in such things, as it does a great job of finding the importance of the site.

I totally agree with you meltwaterfalls. After reading Solivagant's review, I wrote it down on my personal list of worthwhile road trip stops.

Another feature we seem to have lost (used to be my favourite among the lists) is the table showing whs visited by each wh traveller per continent and per category (ex. most difficult).

Bringing 2 issues on the current page over here so we not forget:
- Top lists, Most valuable: list is wrong, should be taken from site_ranking (and group by ranking A, B and C). See http://www.worldheritagesite.org/whstop2002016.php for original list
- Community page: Sorting of date under 'Recently Updated' is not right, somehow it sorts by day (so 28 Sept comes before 4 Oct)

Issue #2 seems a problem too with other sorting, somehow the original query which is right seems to be overruled. See for example the Recent additions to the all tentative page: it shows them alphabetically while the query (correctly) is on id descending.

This is more of an issue for data accuracy rather than technical enhancement, but according to the UNESCO site, the Białowieża Forest was first inscribed in 1979 as the Bialowieza National Park for Poland, and was then extended to Belarus in 1992, after which the borders were modified in 2014. The website currently lists the inscription of Białowieża Forest as 1992 rather than 1979 (and is also reflected on the WHS Inscriptions in 1992 page, rather than the WHS Inscriptions in 1979 page).

Similarly, the Historic Centre of Évora was inscribed in 1986, yet the website lists its inscription as 1988; I'm assuming it was just a typographical error.

A question regarding the connections: It used to be possible to click on the connections on the WHS page and see the details relevant for the specific WHS. Now you have to change to the connection page to see why the WHS is included in the connection. I think it would be great to be able to receive the information directly on the WHS page as it used to be if it isn't too much trouble.

I don't know if it is just me but getting into post a review is taking a long time.

From my Login page, clicking on 'Your Reviews' it takes around one minute for that page to load, same for licking on Preview Your Review, (Incidentally the review I had just posted that I wanted to preview wasn't available to select).

I know some work is being done on this at the moment so no worries if it is a short term issue, just thought I would flag it up just in case.

I miss that too. Will see to it that it returns in the new version.

I noticed that too. You can work around it by using the new pages, go to http://www.worldheritagesite.org/new/ and then use Log in at the bottom left of the page.

I consider the new labelling for TWHS which are no longer on the list (Withdrawn) misleading. It can easily be confused with TWHS that were nominated and then withdrawn. I would suggest to use the term Retracted for the latter (usedn't it be like that?).

"Retracted" isn't proper English we heard from a native speaker. What would be an alternative? Removed? Deleted?

Please remind me where is this "in context" on the site - mostly we have used the phrase "Former Tentative Site"
Is this an example ?-
SITE INFO
Full name: Antakya
Country: Turkey
Withdrawn from tentative list in 1985

Seems pretty clear - other wise it would say "Withdrawn from Nomination"? I suppose it could be "Removed from Tentative List" to be more "final" if wished. But - "Removed" could be by some other agency -"Withdrawn" carries with it the sense of having been done by the same agency as placed it there!
