Is this a hint that I have to update it, nfmungard?

Rather it was a commercial for the feature. I used to always flip back the pages to look for winterkjm posts when the year page shows this, too

Yes but we use different sources. winterkjm keeps track of media very well. I 'only' push forward some possible nominations in time that were mentioned earlier. I think I should make a connection with the Pending list as well, as it is another source for possible nominations (sites earlier referred, withdrawn etc)

The article seems confident the dossier will be completed in the Fall of 2018, in time for the Feb. 2019 deadline.

My friends were invited to the pilgrimage this year in Djerba. There they met some staff from the Ministry of Culture of Tunisia, they admitted that the focus of the nomination will be on the synagogue and that the expected date is not later than 2020. Personally I'm quite sure that it will be inscribed . No one would dare to argue against, if an arab state sublmits a piece of jewish heritage. Even if the dossier is not that bright there are too much political pro-s.

Thanks for that insight ajoszucs. I think you may well be right in your assessment and reasoning.

I agree. I also guess the same reasoning goes for the Altona Jewish cemetery being a Jewish heritage site in Germany mostly unaffected by WWII and the holocaust.

According to the following article Mrauk-U (Myanmar) won't be submitted before 2022, so 2023 at the earliest.
