The Thimlich Ohinga Cultural Landscape (Kenya)

Njoka said that Kenya has already submitted to UNESCO, the Thimlich Ohinga wall which was built in the 14th century to be classified as a cultural site.

I think this will be evaluated in 2018, no? This Kenyan nomination was referred in 2015.

Mining Cultural Landscape Erzgebirge is scheduled for 2019.
https://www.welt.de/regionales/sachsen/article167787704/In-Kuerze-neuer-Antrag-fuer-U nesco-Titel.html

As recommended by ICOMOS, the nomination was focused on ore mining, 18 elements which are not directly connected to ore mining were withdrawn (these sites are now listed as "associated elements"). The remaining sites were combined to form larger units. Finally, the nomination will consist of 22 sites instead the original 85.

Seemingly so, but there has been no confirmation. I'll add it though, since its the logical dossier we'll see. I'm just not sure Azerbaijan is ready, Iran may get their portion inscribed first.

City Walls of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (China) C
The Ancient Waterfront Towns in the South of Yangtze River (China) C

As I said in the last post, both of China's potential nominations listed above seemed tenuous at best, since so little has been mentioned in the last couple years. Perhpas 2020 or 2021.

China's Official Nomination:

Liangzhu Archaeological Site (China)

http://www.zj.xinhuanet.com/2017-09/22/c_1121708476.htm

http://culture.people.com.cn/n1/2017/0922/c1013-29552791.html

I would be surprised if China did not have a natural nomination for 2019. In addition, Liangzhu Archaeological Site could easily be submitted as a cultural landscape (908.89 hectares) so this may not even be China's only cultural nomination.
