The WHC as a whole is not willing to give out a Deferral, no matter how weak the nomination. It is now official the WHC has inscribed 0 new nominations from Africa this year. By the way, the delegate from Jordan gave a quite meaningful speech about how important it is for the preservation of heritage, regardless of which religion it belongs (particularly in these times). He highlighted the willingness and dedication of Jordan to protect its Christian heritage sites.
