I think they've got "World Biosphere Reserve" and "World Heritage" mixed up, meaning the first.

Possible but Khakaborazi national park is in the list of 7 sites for potential natural world heritage site that report in 2013.

Blimey that was some depressing Earthquake based news yesterday.

The epicentre of this one seems to have been very close to Bagan. The Wall Street Journal has 185 Temples being damaged in some way and the South China Morning Post has some more photos of damage.

Though thankfully the human toll seems to be much less than the one in Italy.

This article claims Bagan is aiming for inscription by 2021. This does not close the opportunity for an earlier inscription, but 2019 now seems highly in doubt.

According to Japanese news media, the Ministry of Religion and Culture's Minister Aung-Koo announced 3 years WHS plan for 3 sites at the National Conference held on February 28.

Bagan will be submitted on September 2017 so highly possible for WHC 2019
Myauk-U will be 2018 so WHC 2020 (?)
Schwedagon Pagoda will be 2019 so WHC 2021 (?)
