» Ancient Thai city of Chiang Saen and the companion Lao city of Suvannakhomkham to be listed as joint world heritage sites. (06-06-2009).
» A large area of the Andaman Sea, including the Phuket, Similan, Surin and Mu Koh Lanta national parks, will be nominated for listing as a World Heritage Site next February (17-04-2008).
