European Route of Industrial Heritage
WHS which are "anchor points" within the European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH).
ERIH is a network (theme route) of the most important industrial heritage sites in Europe. The aim of the project is to create interest for the common European Heritage of the Industrialization and its remains. ERIH also wants to promote regions, towns and sites showing the industrial history and market them as visitor attractions in the leisure and tourism industry. Currently there are 845 sites in 29 European countries. Among these sites there are 66 Anchor Points which build the virtual ERIH main route as being those Industrial Heritage sites which are the historically most important and most attractive for visitors. See http://www.erih.net/.

- Link at least 3 different sites
- Not duplicate or merely subdivide the "Category" assignment already identified on this site.
- Add some knowledge or insight (whether significant or trivial!) about WHS for the users of this site
- Be explained, with reference to a source
